PLOT:
The film will begin with a prologue set in the Old West, giving a back-story on what The Creeper (played by Jonathan Breck) really is, who he was and how he came to be the Creeper. Flash forwarding to 2024, 23 years after the first and second films, Trish Jenner (Gina Philips) is suffering from horrible nightmares. She fears that her son (Fox Langenkamp) will suffer the same fate as her brother Darry had. Teaming up with Jack Taggart Jr. and Sr., Trish looks to take down the Creeper for the last time.

Victor Salva Talks Rosewood Lane and Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral
8 March 2011 10:28 AM, PST With a new project on the way from Victor Salva called Rosewood Lane, fans have been wondering just where that leaves The Creeper in all this. Fear not, fans. According to director Salva this could be the year we get the beast back.
During an interview with Bloody Disgusting Salva revealed the following about Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral - "MGM has had its share of troubles since the first two 'Jeepers' films came out of United Artists under the lion's umbrella, and that complicated getting 'JC3' (we call it 'Jeepers Threepers') made as well, but…it can be made without MGM. MGM doesn't own the 'Jeepers' franchise; Francis Coppola's Zoetrope owns it. And I think this might actually be the year the film gets made. I hope it is. The third installment has lots of goodies for the 'Jeepers' fans, and they have been so loyal – and so patient!

ReplyDeletemy name is Daniel chamber and ive waited too long for the third jepers creepers to come out after eight years of waiting and six years of research im tired of waiting u say 2013 but w,y cant u gust let it hit the screen for2011 and if it hits big u could make a series called the creeper walks among us witch goes into showing the origins of the the creeper what he is where he came from what he want and more and if that hits big maybe it could go into a fourth movie, not only would it make u millions but it would make u and everyone happy mostly because they would remember the first and second one witch would make the more eager to watch the third one and the series that sound like more money to me, please take this advice and start filming sooner if not 2011 at least in the beginning or middle of 2012 now start filming please that is if like and want more money i would.
ReplyDeletei thought JC3 was supposed to be based 23 years after the second movie, NOT BEING RELEASED 23 YEARS LATER!!!, me (and everyone else here) ARE TIRED OF WAITING, WE WANT THE SCARY!!! we are practically becoming the creeper ourselves by ripping the hearts out of everyone on youtube for making fake videos of the 3rd movie because they got our hopes up so high, weve been waiting for this movie since we saw the ending of the second one. @ mr. salva- are you going to leave us like the creeper in JC2? just hanging there with no hope of being seen again?? i should have just jumped into the church when it was on fire to save me from the agony of waiting for the 3rd movie. and i guess all of those bodies stitched to the wall of the church hole were the fellow people who are still waiting for the 3rd movie.

ReplyDeleteHm... I for one am happy i didnt miss it coming to theatres yet! I just saw thw dirst and second yesterday and i'm hooked. Though I was only ALLOWED to see the 1st one... Oops well mom doesnt know :) The internet rocks! My mom doesnt think i'm old enough to see ALOT of scary movies but she still lets me see some (makes no sence!!!) Anyways my dad agrees with her... but YAY JC3 BY NECT YEAR PROLLY!!!

ReplyDeleteIf it doesn't come out in 2013 then I'm giving up on it! You can't promise and say its coming out and then NOT make it!!! I really love the first two and it only makes sense to make a third that gives the fans a background of how the creeper came to be and so on...please don't crush your fans hearts again by not following through!
